Purpose of the role

The purpose of the role is to effectively communicate Company messaging and policies both internally and externally. You will be part of the Tri-Wall UK HO team and as such will need to support many general business activities and initiatives, but you will primarily be responsible for updating and controlling all communication channels as well as gathering stories and good news from around the group and sharing that with the team in Hong Kong. You will use creative thinking and writing to generate stories and help phrase articles, newsletters and presentation materials for use in our Group. This will also mean liaising with external marketing companies including website updates and content refresh work.

Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications

  • Assist and support the Marketing Manager
  • Identify and create content for social media channels and website
  • Assist with responding to media enquiries
  • Google Analytics reporting
  • Monthly Marketing Reports
  • Analyse Website Traffic
  • PPC/Paid Advertisements
  • Internal communications
  • Creation of staff newsletters including Tri-Wall Now
  • Creation of content for internal communication channels and campaigns
  • Creation of content for the Tri-Wall Intranet
  • Support the Marketing Manager with the Communication Strategy
  • Assist with researching, planning and delivery of marketing campaigns
  • Work with external companies to produce company and product videos
  • Ad hoc photography
  • Provide admin support to the team
  • Promote the values of the Tri-Wall Brand
  • If required, travel to and from sites and other locations across the UK as determined by the role
  • Any other tasks as required by the business

Awards

  • Research relevant awards to create and maintain an annual calendar of awards
  • Assist with researching and writing award submissions

Events

  • Assist with researching and writing award submissions
  • Research relevant events and exhibitions to create and maintain an annual calendar of events
  • With confirmation from the Marketing Manager, book and coordinate events/exhibitions
  • Manage booking of events materials
  • Assist with planning and coordination of site events
  • If required, attend events, conferences and seminars that are of benefit to Tri-Wall

Brand

  • In line with the Tri-Wall Brand Guidelines, design and amend templates for a wide range of documents, including marketing materials, newsletters, invites, posters, adverts, presentations etc
  • Liaise with design and print agencies when required
  • Act as a ‘Brand Champion’ to provide advice and guidance on company branding/logos

Requirements

Essential

  • Degree, apprenticeship, or other similar qualification in a marketing, communications, PR or related subject, or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience of working in a marketing and communications environment
  • Knowledge of Office 365, especially PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Sharepoint and Planner
  • Experience of Canva
  • Full driving licence

Desirable

  • Experience of design packages (e.g. Adobe InDesign, Photoshop) would be beneficial, but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Experience of producing and editing videos, including using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro would be beneficial, but not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Experience or knowledge of the Packaging Industry would be beneficial
  • Experience of website development systems such as Webflow
  • Any experience working on a Sustainable journey

Training

  • You are required to complete training that the Company identifies relevant to the role.

Flexibility

  • You will be required to be based at the Monmouth Head Office, on a Hybrid contract.
  • A degree of flexibility is needed to deliver services effectively and the post holder may be required to perform work not specifically referred to above.
